The Opportunity The Warehouse - CNC Programmer / Operator is a Permanent position offering a salary between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. The Role We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse & CNC Programmer /Operator to join our team. The role involves handling and operating CNC machinery as well as managing warehouse tasks. The Renew Centre is a state-of-the-art facility, with a dedicated team to enable us to make the most of our clients’ existing office furniture. We refurbish and remodel the assets and return them at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Our 5,000 square feet or remanufacturing space houses high specification machinery, including two industrial Biesse CNC machines, Biesse edge bander, Biesse Selco Beam Saw and a panel lifting system. We employ a growing team trained in a variety of areas of expertise including upholstery, metal spraying, CAD design, planning and furniture fitting. What you will do: • Reporting to the workshop Supervisor • Maintain productivity throughout the working day. • Producing and Refurbishing items to a high standard of quality. • Motivating colleagues to achieve deadlines and short lead times. • Ensuring compliance is adhered to including Health & Safety, Weekly / Daily checks, and regular machine maintenance. • Operating and programming CNC Machines (5 Axis & 3 Axis), Beam Saw and Edge bander. • Prepare framework ready for respraying & Delivery • Use tools and equipment with care and precision. • Assist with general warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory and maintaining a clean workspace Skill and Experience Essential: • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Minimum 2 Years’ experience working with CNC Machines. • Able to carry out manual labour such as assembly and fitting of furniture within the workshop. • Have a general idea and experience working with hand tools. • Understand the tooling and feed speeds for correct use to avoid breakages and damage to the parts. • Able to understand different material compositions using the correct tool on the machines to process. Desirable: • Would be desirable but not essential to understand Biesse Operating software such as B-Solid and Sintra to enable the correct use of the machines. Training will be provided if not experienced with Biesse. • ROVER B EDGE, Rover K and AKRON Edge bander with Air Force System. • Forklift Licence desirable but not essential.
